HobbyZone have always been known for producing great RC planes for beginner pilots. Today we are pleased to announce that they have released a new model that is inspired by their famous Super Cub S. The Sport Cub S was designed by champion pilot, Mike McConville and is an accurate replica of the Cub Crafters Sport Cub. This plane offers the same easy-going flight characteristics that made the Super Cub perfect for beginners, but this remote control plane comes in a smaller, sportier size. What's more, it is equipped with the same SAFE Technology that you can experience in the Super Cub S. SAFE Technology is great for beginners. An abbreviation of "Sensor-Assisted Flight Envelope", SAFE brings a whole new level of stability and security when you are in the air. With the Sport Cub S, you will be able to select from multiple flight modes, allowing you to steadily loosen the flight envelope as your skills develop over time. Rest assured, this HobbyZone plane also comes with a Panic Recovery mode, whereby it will return to level flight with the pull of a trigger.
The Sport Cub is Ready For You!
The great thing about the Sport Cub S is that it comes out of the box with everything you need to get in the air. All you have to do is charge up the LiPo battery and you will be ready to go. In the ready-to-fly package, you will receive a Spektrum 2.4GHz transmitter and a USB port DC charger. If you have a preferred transmitter from a previous model though, HobbyZone have made a Bind-N-Fly Sport Cub S available too. Irrespective of your choice, you will find the Sport Cub to be a joy to fly. The Sport Cub S is coming soon to Modelflight, so if you are keen to learn more, visit our website today.

For fans of ultra-micro RC planes (or scale planes in general), some great news emerged yesterday with the launch of the E-Flite Ultra-Micro Corsair. This is an excellent addition to the E-Flite hangar. The previous Corsair from ParkZone was a very popular model and it is great to see that E-Flite have now created a smaller-scale version, which is perfect for both indoor and outdoor flying. A key feature of this new Corsair is the inclusion of Artificial Stabilisation Three Axis (AS3X) Technology. AS3X works subtly in the background as you fly; smoothing out the effects of forces such as P-Factor, turbulence and torque. This technology is so subtle, you will hardly notice it working. The control responses and throws will be as sharp as always.
The E-Flite Ultra-Micro Corsair comes with great scale detail, including an accurate paint scheme, clear canopy and moulded panel lines.

An exciting new release has emerged from the ParkZone hangar. The new Sukhoi SU-29MM RC plane has just been announced and it is certain to be a groundbreaker. Designed by the champion pilot Mike McConville, the Sukhoi comes equipped with Sensor-Assisted Flight Envelope (SAFE) Technology. This is a first for an aerobatic RC plane. SAFE will allow you to perform fantastic maneuvers in the air with more confidence and less risk. This technology gives you four different flight modes with the Sukhoi, which we will look at in turn.
The first mode is "Stagility", whereby the Sukhoi can perform any aerobatic or 3D maneuver, but will return to upright flight immediately if you release both sticks. The second mode is AS3X 3D. This mode balances sharp response with great stability when you perform

Another great addition to the new RC planes at the Nuremberg 2014 Toy Fair is the Graupner HoTTrainer RC plane. This wooden remote control plane comes with a bold Graupner/SJ team pilot style and is a very versatile aircraft. You will notice how the wings can be mounted in two positions. The high wing option is a great choice for beginner pilots, but as your skills progress, you can shift the wings to a centre position. This will give the HoTTrainer the characteristics of a precision aerobatic model.

We are pleased to report that ParkZone have just announced a brand new RC Plane - the ArtiZan. This new model is an excellent choice if you are looking for your second remote control plane. Even if you taught yourself how to fly with a HobbyZone model, you will find that the transition to the ParkZone ArtiZan will be a smooth one.
The key to the ArtiZan's success is the included AS3X technology, which gives you great stability in the air by countering environmental factors such as wind and turbulence. ParkZone have also given this RC plane a chambered construction, with a large wing area and low weight. This

The original Super Cub has always been an excellent choice for pilots looking for their first RC plane and today we are pleased to announce that HobbyZone are updating this model to include the groundbreaking SAFE Technology. With this technology, the risk of crashes are greatly reduced. This is coupled with the plane's Carbon-Z foam construction, which is very durable and can easily be repaired if necessary.
This new remote control plane comes with 3-channel control, giving you great control over the model, without

When we announced the Hangar 9 Inverza 33, we honestly thought that aerobatic planes couldn't get any more exciting. Today we stand corrected. Modelflight are pleased to inform you all that the Hangar 9 Inverza 62 will be coming soon and we are eagerly anticipating its arrival. The Inverza 62 was inspired by the Inverza project, lead by full-scale aircraft builder Kevin Kimball. Although this full-size plane is yet to be built, with the Inverza 62, you can witness the aerobatic potential of this design at your local field.

If you love the thrill of aerobatic flying, you are going to love the new E-Flite Carbon-Z Yak 3X 54. Following their popular Carbon-Z Yak 54, E-Flite have announced the Yak 54 3X RC plane. This version of the Yak comes with Artificial Stabilisation - 3aXis (AS3X) technology built-in to the included AR635 receiver, giving you a wide flight envelope and excellent stability. Because the AS3X minimises the effect of wind and turbulence, you can perform a range of aerobatic maneuvers with great precision. You will find that the effect of this

December 20, 2013 133Christmas has come early for fans of scale model planes with Hangar 9 announcing the release of the Spitfire Mk IX. This RC plane is a true stunner. It comes with accurate details including camouflage colours modelled on the original Mk IXc plane, panel line detail and scale decal sets. This is quite a versatile aircraft; you have the option of running it on electric or gas power, depending on your preferences. Irrespective of your choice, you will find that the Spitfire is a great performer in the air. Among its many features, the Spitfire remote control plane comes with operational split-flaps with internal linkages, giving you both scale performance and appearance. Hangar 9 have also added cowl details such as carburetor intake, compressor intake and moulded engine exhaust. You will also notice the fixed landing
