The original Super Cub has always been an excellent choice for pilots looking for their first RC plane and today we are pleased to announce that HobbyZone are updating this model to include the groundbreaking SAFE Technology. With this technology, the risk of crashes are greatly reduced. This is coupled with the plane's Carbon-Z foam construction, which is very durable and can easily be repaired if necessary.
This new remote control plane comes with 3-channel control, giving you great control over the model, without having to worry about ailerons. HobbyZone have also equipped the new Super Cub with a 480-sized brushless motor and a 3S 1300mAh LiPo battery. Combined, this gives you excellent power in the air. You will also notice how the new red trim scheme makes the Super Cub clearly visible in the air.
The HobbyZone Super Cub SAFE 2014 is available as a ready-to-fly (RTF) or Bind-N-Fly (BNF) model. In the RTF version, you will receive a Spektrum DX4E transmitter, which you can continue to use with other BNF models from ParkZone and E-Flite as your skills progress.
If you are keen to start your journey as an RC pilot, the Super Cub SAFE provides the solid foundation you need. It is coming soon to Modelflight, so visit our website today to find out more.
