Arrma's 2019 Talion Truggy

There have been many upgrades to the Arrma Talion 2019 RC Truggy, but first, we will cover the new radio system. The Talion has moved to a Spektrum based radio system using the STX2 controller which contains some great features, including a throttle limiting switch that you can adjust to 50%, 75% and 100% throttle. This feature is ideal for less experienced drivers limiting them to speeds where the RC car is easier to control. Once the driver is confident and has improved their skills, they can adjust the throttle limit to 75% and 100%.

Arrma’s Talion 2019 Spec Truggy can be powered by 4S or 6S LiPo batteries. This RC Car is not

We went down to the Hallett Cove Skate Park to shoot some footage with the Arrma Infraction. We were lucky enough to get a sample of this remote control car to put it through its paces, and let us tell you, it is an amazing car!

Phenomenal performance, phenomenal speed - the RC car will smoke the tyres doing donuts it has that much power and torque. We were probably putting it in a place where it shouldn't be, jumping and bashing it, doing everything that you probably wouldn't want to do to a car that you have just purchased, but we did to see what it can handle and it has come through beautifully with no damage aside from some scuffs to the body.

New and improved 4WD RC bashers from ARRMA

We're going to cover a couple of new releases from ARRMA that have just arrived – the Talion and Typhon. They're fantastic and exciting cars, so let's get into it and show you the differences between these 2019 specs and the older cars.

The Talion and the Typhon 2019 Spec both have some updates from the previous 2018 version. The most notable updates are the change to a Spektrum radio system and the use of the new IC5 connectors. Like their predecessors, these cars come in an almost ready to run configuration. Both the Talion and Typhon can take up to 6S power and that's what ARRMA provides, super-fast cars that are extremely durable, designed to bash and take anything you can throw at it.
