One of the questions we often receive is what is the difference between gas and nitro helicopters? Today, we want to provide some explanations. Let's start with gas helicopters. These are otherwise known as 2-stroke engine helis and they run on standard unleaded fuel. This makes them less expensive to run. As you would assume, the fuel for these models is also easier to obtain. You will also find that there is less maintenance.

June 04, 2013 22We are pleased to announce that members of the Modellfight team will be attending Jerilderie 2013; the 36th League of Silent Flight (LSF) Open Thermal Glider competition in New South Wales. The event will be held over the June long weekend (8-10 June). There will be 60 competitors attending the event, with flying occurring over 3 days to determine the best RC thermal pilot in Australia. In attendance will be World F3K Champion Joe Wurts from New Zealand, who will compete against Australia's best pilots, including David Hobby and Carl Stautins.
