The Hangar 9 P-47D-1 Thunderbolt 60 ARF - New Release!
It is a great day for fans of scale model planes. A new plane has been announced by Hangar 9, the P-47D-1 Thunderbolt 60. There are many great features with this Hangar 9 model plane. For instance, it features a printed, flat-finish UltraCote covering, with detailed panel lines. The scale outline as a whole has been accurately represented and you will notice how the Thunderbolt has operational flaps; enhancing its appearance and its flight envelope.       The tail surfaces in the Thunderbolt model plane are fully-sheeted and airfoiled. Additionally, the plane features gear doors, scale tyres and 8-spoke wheel hubs. Hangar 9 have included a fibrelgass cowl with dummy engine, alongside intercooler exhaust doors, turbo and waste gate exhaust detail.   The P-47D-1 Thunderbolt has internal flap and elevator linkages and a large removable top hatch with magnetic closure. There are wing pylons with dummy wing tanks and bombs. Hangar 9 also give you the option of adding electric retracts (sold separately). These wings come in two, plug-in pieces, allowing for easy transportation. The Thunderbolt's wings come with scale guns. You will also receive four scale nose art and identification number sets.          
The Hangar 9 P-47D-1 Thunderbolt 60 is comes almost-ready-to-fly, so you will need to supply your own components. It can accomodate both internal combustion and electric power, so there are a range of options available to you.
