Modelflight was the main Sponsor of the Skyhawks Scale Day, held last Sunday at the Skyhawks Aeromodellers Blakeview field. Near-perfect weather greeted the 30 pilots who entered with nearly 70 scale models.
The facilities were excellent and well-used on the day. Lots of flying took place from the grass strip in front of the flying judges. Static judging took place during the morning to stand off scale requirements and the well-deserved winners received Model Flight Gift Vouchers.
Congrats to the Skyhawks Club on a really well-organised and run event, and it was great to see modellers from many SA clubs in attendance. Check out the image gallery below!
