New! JR Airflow DLG1 Glider Announced at Modelflight
JR made a very exciting announcement this week, with the launch of their Airflow DLG1 Glider. The Airflow is JR's first glider. It is made from glass- and carbon-reinforced polymer (GRFP and CRFP respectively) material, giving this model a light flying weight of 155-165g.   Mike was able to get a sneak preview of the new Airflow, and put this video on Modelflight's YouTube channel:

As you would have heard in the video, the JR Airflow DLG1 comes pre-fabricated with four servos pre-installed. At this "plug and fly" completion level, all you need to do is install your battery and receiver, before binding the Airflow to a 6-channel radio system.   We took the JR Airflow to Jerilderie 2013, held last weekend, much to the interest of 2011 World F3K Champion, Joe Wurts. We gave Joe the opportunity to experience the Airflow and he was very happy with the model's performance. You can watch the interview we held with Joe in the video below:

As Joe highlighted, it the Air Flow flies very well, given its medium size. He also noted how convenient it is having the four servos pre-installed. No doubt you too will be impressed with the Air Flow DLG1. If you are interested in getting into the world of RC soaring, this is a great place to start. The Air Flow is easy to set up, easy to transport and easy to use. This JR glider is coming soon to Modelflight, so visit our website today to find out more.
