Modelflight Teams Up With the Royal Society for the Blind
Last week on Modelflight's Facebook page, we announced the launch of a new fundraising campaign to help the Royal Society for the Blind (RSB). We are pleased to inform you all that $1 from every Blade RC Helicopter sold throughout the month of March 2013, will be donated to the RSB. Modelflight is very excited to run this initiative, given the amazing work performed by the RSB. With over 12,000 clients, the RSB is the largest provider of free services to Australians who are blind or vision-impaired. Money raised from this fundraising will support the RSB's clients directly through the training of guide dogs, the provision of adaptive technology and employment services. It is worth noting that the RSB has been providing such services for over 127 years! It should be no surprise, therefore, how well-established the RSB is and the high esteem in which it is held. If ever there was a time to buy a Blade helicopter, this is it!  Irrespective of whether you want to start flying RC helis with the Blade Scout or you want the ultimate Blade 550 X, your purchase will contribute to the ongoing work of the Royal Society for the Blind. If you don't need a Blade heli at this time, we are happy to accept donations at Modelflight's store on Goodwood Road. Once again, this fundraising will run throughout March 2013. We have no doubt that the money Modelflight raises from this initiative will go on to provide immeasurable benefit. Thank you for supporting us in this endeavour and thank you for supporting the Royal Society for the Blind. We will leave the last word to the ambassador for the RSB, Rachael Leahcar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJX5YvX6T2A
