If you are a pilot with big dreams, take note. E-Flite have just released their Carbon-Z Cub. This is the first giant-scale RC plane to be constructed from durable Carbon-Z foam. Designed by Quique Somenzini, the Carbon-Z Cub is a great choice if you are looking for to step up to a giant-scale plane. This is a very versatile model aircraft. The Cub is quite capable flying gracefully or performing great aerobatics. It comes equipped with AS3X technology built into the included AR635 receiver from Spektrum, giving you great stability in the air.
Everything about the Carbon-Z Cub RC plane makes giant-scale flying easier. You will find that the foam material is easy to repair and with its large Tundra wheels, you can take off from virtually any terrain. E-Flite have also given you the option of installing a float set (sold separately) on this model plane. The Carbon Z Cub features a mechanism for towing sailplanes with wingspans up to 3m. There is also an optional camera mount (sold separately), so you can capture aerial footage as you soar across the sky.
Controlling this E-Flite RC plane are digital, metal gear servos and ball-link hardware. The included flaps are fully operational, giving you greater control at low airspeeds and giving you the option of significantly shortening your takeoff and landing distances. With its brushless power system, the E-Flite Carbon-Z Cub gives you the muscle for STOL. All you need to do is supply your own DSM2/DSMX 6-channel transmitter, 3200mAh 22.2V 30C LiPo battery and balance LiPo charger. Once you have all this in place, you will be ready to fly this BNF E-Flite model plane.
