The OUTCAST 6S Extreme Bash Stunt Truck has been given the full treatment by the engineers at ARRMA. The full EXtreme Bash (EXB) that is! EXB components have been hardened to increase strength and toughness in all the crucial points around the vehicle. What you get is 1/8th scale stunt basher that is pretty much unstoppable. In a first for ARRMA they have equipped this EXB vehicle with a ready to run Spektrum AVC transmitter, and, a Spektrum 6S brushless power system. Translation – a strong, tough mean looking machine that will go just about anywhere at a blistering 96+ Kmh.

The design brief for the OUTCAST 6S Extreme Bash Stunt Truck given to ARRMA engineers simply had two words on it – FAST. TOUGH. It starts with the laser-etched chassis plate which is made from anodized 7075 T6 strengthened aluminium. Adding rigidity to the chassis are the aluminium braces at the front and rear of the chassis, robust composite chassis side pods and a centre body support and brace all increase the OUTCAST’s tolerance to punishment. All-metal diff outdrives and gearbox internals plus durable steel driveshafts ensure the heavy-duty 4-wheel drivetrain keeps moving regardless of track conditions. Smoothing out the ride on the ARRMA OUTCAST 6S Extreme Bash Stunt Truck is the EXB toughened suspension system with adjustable oil filled shocks, steel rear suspension mount all supported by anodized 7075 T6 aluminium front and rear shock towers. The EXB skid plate and front bumper allow you to charge into just about any situation you encounter on the track.

Keeping your ARRMA OUTCAST 6S Extreme Bash Stunt Truck grounded are toughened multi-terrain Back-Flip tyres by dBoots. You’re going to need the traction they provide when the 6S capable Spektrum Firma 4074 2050Kv brushless motor kicks in. When it’s wheelie time the wheelie bar will keep you grounded while achieving 90-degree front lifts, and, the high downforce wing will also keep you grounded as you fly along at 96+km/h.

Powerful Spektrum electronics

For big stunts, you need serious grunt. The powerful 6S brushless system that Spektrum factory installs is a 2050Kv Firma 4074 brushless motor with an ARRMA heatsink. To complete the Spektrum electronics package you get a 2.4GHz DX3 DSMR transmitter, SR6110AT receiver, and, a 150mAh Firma ESC. This Spekt;rum package also comes with Active Vehicle Control (AVC) and Smart technologies included.

Working behind the scenes the DX3 transmitter's AVC system makes hundreds of tiny throttle and steering adjustments per second to maintain traction control and give you extra stability when attempting jumps and cornering at speed without having to back off the power. AVC will assist on any and all surfaces at slow or fast speeds. When you think you’re ready to handle the raw power of your ARRMA OUTCAST 6S Extreme Bash Stunt Truck unassisted you can just dial back the AVC from your DX3.

In order to fully utilise the benefits of SMART technology, you’ll need to download the free Spektrum Dashboard app to your mobile device from Google Play or the iPhone App store. This app will give you access to all the telemetry capabilities via a bluetooth connection from your DX3 to your mobile device (will require optional BT2000 Bluetooth module sold separately). With this in place you will get a display of your remaining battery voltage, top speed and other crucial data all delivered to you in real-time.
