More powerful, more capable and Smarter T-28 Trojan RC plane

The T-28 Trojan 1.1m RC plane was introduced by Parkzone over a decade ago. The scale replica of the 1952 to 1984 US Navy trainer quickly became a favourite particularly amongst those RC pilots emerging from the beginner phase. Because of its simplicity, durability and incredibly easy handling the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m was the plane of choice for those entering the intermediate pilot stage and looking for their first low wing, warbird or sports model having mastered a trainer. The 1.1m size also allows it to be flown at sports fields and parks and transport without the need for disassembly, which adds to this RC planes convenience.

With a high-vis full factory paint job and trim scheme, the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m has also been upgraded and updated to revive its status as a brilliant step-up model for intermediate pilots while also possessing enough high-speed aerobatic capability to keep experienced pilots happy. The brushless power system in the Trojan is compatible with 3S 1800-2200mAh LiPo’s and has a specially tuned motor that gives you added speed and thrust. If you hop it up with a 4S LiPo you can get even more speed and vertical performance without the need for upgrades or modifications.

The E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m features four factory-installed servos and linkages giving the pilot full aerobatic capability to perform rolls, knife-edge, loops, inverted flying and more. The airframe on the T-28 Trojan is made of composite-reinforced EPO giving it more durability to handle the additional speed and aerobatics. When you combine that with the strengthened nose gear steering arm, motor and wing spar means this is one tough buzzard.

Given its size, the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m can fit into nearly any vehicle while it’s fully assembled and the quick and simple, no glue required final assembly should only be needed once. If you do need to break it down the wing can be easily removed. The stability of the T-28 Trojan reflects that of its full-scale counterpart although there are enhancements in E-flite's version that the US Navy wish they had. The BNF version of the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m features an AR631 Spektrum receiver that gives pilots a helping hand thanks to the exclusive optional-use SAFE Select, and, AS3X stabilization technologies.

The 30A ESC included in both versions of the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m delivers real-time motor RPM, current, and, battery voltage plus other data when using Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters, and, compatible receivers like the AR631 (included with BNF version only). Put it all together and the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m delivers a stable, high performing flying experience that will take your piloting skills to the next level!

The Advantages of Bind-N-Fly®

If you own a Spektrum transmitter already then getting the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m will be even easier. With the servos, power system and 2.4GHz Spektrum receiver already installed it is simply a matter of binding the receiver to your transmitter and you are ready for take-off!

The Spektrum DSMX receiver fitted in the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m features the AS3X (Artificial Stabilization 3 aXis) system that nullifies the effects of turbulence and wind by working behind the scenes to provide increased precision and stability when your RC plane experiences non-optimal flying conditions.

SAFE Select is optional technology that gives the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m an extra margin of safety by enabling features that will ensure your flight envelope is limited to keep you out of trouble until you are a better flyer or have familiarized yourself with the controls. No programming is required to engage SAFE Select as it is built into the receiver. You just need to follow the manual directions and change up the binding sequence to switch it on.
