Equipped with a massive amount of detail and high-performance functionality, the Axial SCX6 platform has taken RC rock crawling to a whole other level. Now, Axial have added the legendary Honcho to the SCX6 line-up. The massive beast is sure to please whether you’re a large-scale fanatic, a rock crawling enthusiast, you love the original SCX10 Honcho or all of the above!

Axial Honcho is now on the SCX6 platform

Designed for extreme performance and durability, the SCX6 Honcho is equipped with AR90 axles that feature metal ring and pinion gears and a front offset pumpkin. Optional aluminium carriers and steering knuckles are accommodated by the 3-piece front axle. “Hi-steer" steering knuckles raise the steering tie rod for increased ground clearance, and the rear axle can be set up for optional rear steering. The chassis has a three-link front and four-link rear suspension setup with metal links at all suspension points for optimal handling. For increased fine-tuning capability, there are more upper link locations than the SCX10 III.

The SCX6 Honcho 4WD RTR includes a Spektrum S614 Metal Gear High-Torque Servo that allows for two speeds with high and low gears, providing a true crawling gear ratio. The servo mounting location will also accept an option 1/5 scale servo if you choose to modify the crawler.

Providing superb grip and ground clearance are the huge, 7-inch tall officially licensed Falken Wildpeak M/T tyres. They are moulded from high-traction compound and feature an aggressive tread pattern to get you through dirt, and over rocks and dominate all other off-road terrains. The officially licensed Black Rhino Primm beadlock wheels provide a realistic look as well as easy removal and replacement without the need for glue.

Reliable Spektrum technology

The SCX6 Honcho 4WD RTR comes with the Spektrum DX3 radio that offers a superior response, range and interference resistance of DSMR® technology. Exclusive Spektrum Smart technology delivers real-time telemetry data through the fully installed Firma Crawler 120A Smart Sensored-Brushless ESC. Install a Spektrum Smart LiPo and you can also view the remaining battery capacity of your SCX6 Honcho 4WD RC Crawler on the Spektrum DX3’s voltage level indicator. Take advantage of all the features that Spektrum Smart Technology has to offer by equipping your DX3 transmitter with the optional BT2000 Bluetooth module and downloading the Spektrum Dashboard app to your smart device. No need for onboard sensors or modules.

You'll be impressed with the scale realism of the Axial SCX6 Honcho 4WD RC Crawler. It features a usable spare tyre, functional recovery boards and a box that can store spare parts or tools. It also features scale detail in the interior, as well as LED lights in the front bumper, headlights, back bumper, and spotlights. At 776mm in length, this massive juggernaut will take your rock crawling adventures to the next level. Just add your own choice of 3S battery with IC5 / EC5 connector and you’re ready to go!
