Redefining short course truck driving
There’s no need for us to introduce the TEN-SCTE platform. A pioneer in the short course truck world, the new TEN-SCTE 3.0 kit is even easier to drive… and win. It’s a champion in every way, with a growing list of race wins on the board; including the ROAR Nationals, and the Cactus Classic. And you’ll take home the winning trophy too, driving this beautifully engineered SCT.
With a body like that, you’ll turn heads
The high-performance TLR body is constructed from strong 1.2mm polycarbonate. It’s got all of the down force required to keep you stable and controlled, while turning corners and going full steam ahead. Going airborne? Don’t worry; you’ll stay steady. The air under the body is channelled through smartly designed vents.
Adjustable centre driveline, adjust the power bleed
Mount the motor and centre diff at an angle or line with the chassis. You’re in control. If you mount at an angle, you’ll get an even power bleed front-to-rear. This means the truck will have more force driving out of turns. Whereas in line, the rear gets all the power – giving it a more speedy on-power steering. The fury will scare off any competitor.
You’ll drive with the lightest of feeling, with the Gen II platform shocks. They reduce the overall weight, so it lands well, jumps intuitively, and tackles corner quicker. Machined shock internals, X-rings, TiCN shock shafts and aluminium bleeder caps provide a streamlined, reliable shock. Friction is decreased than what you’d experience driving a CVA-type driveshaft, thanks to the centre dog bones. What you’ll experience is a smooth, steady power delivery.
Lightweight CNC-machined aluminium chassis
The chassis is kept strong with its innovative design. Made from durable 7075-T6 hard-anodised aluminium, it’s 3mm shorter than its older sibling, 2.0. But you’ll get that light driving feeling too, which makes it easy to change directions faster and go harder on your exits. That’s quicker responses, so you can improve your times.
That’s not all that’s made of aluminium. The suspension balls are strongly built, constructed of hard-anodised aluminium. Lighter and smoother, the new suspension links will ensure the connector always fits nicely. No wear, no tear.
Let’s sing to the winning tune
With the TEN-SCTE 3.0, nothing is off the table. Reconsidering what they call an “option”, the new kit comes loaded with standard features that the 2.0 considered add-ons. We’re talking a shortened chassis, 22 platform shocks, a dog-bone centre driveline, 15˚ caster blocks, hard-anodised aluminium suspension balls, a 2.3mm thick front sway bar, lightweight outdrives, and adjustable aluminium front and rear pivots.
Boasting top speeds, durability, ease of use, parts availability, price, good looks, and even better features, the TEN-SCTE 3.0 kit is really in a race a of its own. Team Losi Racing really has outdone themselves with 3.0. It’s innovative engineering and technology that’s born to win.
For the ultimate in performance and durability, choose the TLR TEN-SCTE 3.0 kit.
