The SLT3 transmitter also comes with a Spektrum SR315 dual-protocol receiver. The 2.4GHz technology is fully supported but should you wish to step up to some next-level transmitters like the DX5 Pro/Rugged or DX5C then you’ll find the SR315 RX is also compatible with Spektrum DSMR protocol as well. For even more versatility the SR315 also supports Spektrum Smart Technology as well. This means that down the track you can also enjoy the advantages that Smart connectivity allows when using it in conjunction with Smart ESC’s, batteries, and, transmitters.
The SLT3 is also available without the additional SR315 RX allowing you to get an inexpensive Spektrum replacement transmitter. The installed SLT protocol is compatible with the SPMSLR300 receiver and also legacy Tactic RX’s that are sometimes included with ready-to-run vehicles.
