The impressive lineage of the JRX RC cars began back in late 1988 when Losi introduced the JRX2 1/10th scale buggy. Two years later Losi raised the bar again with the release of the hugely popular 1/10th scale JRXT monster truck that saw a surge in the popularity of ground-based RC. 

With the introduction of the trucks to the RC world, many from the increasingly competitive buggy racing class start upgrading their buggies to trucks using aftermarket conversion kits and other wheels, tyres and bodies. As an easy-to-drive alternative, this truck class soon rivalled the popularity of buggies and this Losi legend grew in the world of RC. With the introduction of the first-ever complete RC monster truck kit in 1990, the JRXT Losi became the vehicle of choice almost overnight.  

The JRXT monster truck is back in 1/16 scale!

From a visual standpoint, the Losi Mini JRXT pays tribute to the 1990 counterpart with retro styling and a vintage trim scheme that replicates the same one used on the box art of the original. Aside from the nostalgic visual appeal the engineering updates since 1990 lift the performance of the Losi Mini JRXT to new levels that will keep loyal Losi fans and newcomers to the hobby very happy. The rear-mounted motor on the Losi Mini JRXT is in keeping with the original and there is now a new motor plate that gives drivers the option of higher gearing. Another feature of the 1990 model is the flat fibreglass chassis on the Losi Mini JRXT that provides flex for driving ease. Additional flex is provided by the 5-link suspension which allows the Losi Mini JRXT to outperform other mini vehicles on rough terrain. Front ribbed tyres and rear spiked tyres are also a throwback feature from the 1990 JRXT. The wheels and drive train are supported by full ball bearings that improve performance and efficiency while the smoother suspension is provided by the aluminium shocks. 

The Losi Mini JRXT is a 100% ready-to-run completed kit. Included are an SLT2 Spektrum transmitter with fatigue-free foam wheel grip for enhanced control, 650mAh LiPo that when fully charged will give you 10+ minutes of run time, 0.5A USB charger that will plug into any USB port. The power system is rear-mounted and features a 20A 2-in-1 ESC and Receiver unit that ensures the Jr's Choice 42-turn motor delivers precision power when you need it.
