If you're a beginner, intermediate or experienced RC pilot the E-flite UMX Slow Ultra Stick offers an affordable and simple flying option that is fun and now comes in a size that means you can fly almost anywhere! Inspired by the classic ParkZone Ember models and scaled down from the incredibly popular Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m, this UMX version is small enough to “slow fly” just about anywhere – indoors or outdoors. With a 1S 100-150mAh LiPo, you can fly indoors, in loungerooms, basketball stadiums etc. Pop in a 210mAh LiPo and you can fly outdoors as long as it's calm or low wind conditions. Night time can be the right time if you have the optional LED light set (EFL-1113 sold separately) installed. The E-flite UMX Slow Ultra Stick capabilities range from easy cruising to some basic aerobatics including loops. 

If you're looking for maximum value and convenience then the Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version is the way to go as it includes everything you need to fly in one box. Contents include a 1S 150mAh LiPo and USB battery charger, SLT6 Spektrum 2.4GHz transmitter which you can also use with other BNF aircraft that have compatible SLT FHSS technology. If you already have your own batteries and charger plus a DSMX Spektrum-equipped transmitter then the BNF Basic version of the E-flite UMX Slow Ultra Stick is the one for you. 

Both versions are equipped with exclusive technology to help make flying easier and safer. Optional use SAFE Select technology offers the pilot automatic self-leveling in case you get into trouble and can't recover. It also offers pitch and bank angle limits that keep you within a set flight envelope. Once you feel confident enough you can turn SAFE Select off and you are on your own. AS3X works behind the scenes and is expertly tuned to nullify the effects of turbulence and wind which make you feel like you are flying a much bigger airplane with its locked-in feel.  

The control unit included with the E-flite UMX Slow Ultra Stick has a servo, ESC, and dual-protocol (FHSS and DSMX) receiver that is factory installed in a durable but lightweight airframe, ready to fly as soon as you hook up your battery and snapping the wing into place. To help with any crashes or hard landings there is a unique “pop off” prop saver design that will minimise the amount of damage suffered.
