First deployed in 1974 the Grumman F-14 Tomcat was developed for the U.S. Navy and was stationed aboard the USS Enterprise. Based on the F-14D Super Tomcat variant, the E-flite scale model has a factory applied trim scheme that pays tribute to the famous ‘Bounty Hunters’ officially known as Strike Fighter Squadron 2 (VFA-2). The unique and authentic flying experience provided by the E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF RC jet is exemplified with functional variable-sweep wings and full flying stabs. Due to the compatibility that the F-14 RC jet has with popular 2200mAh 4S batteries, it is more affordable to the average flyer. You'll need to bind this iconic RC jet fighter to your 6+ channel DMX2/DSMX equipped transmitter, and, if you have a compatible Spektrum Airware equipped radio you can get real-time telemetry data including current, motor RPM and battery voltage plus more. The AS3X helps to stabilise your aircraft in flight and works behind the scenes to nullify the effect of turbulence and wind making it feel like you’re flying a much bigger aircraft due to the locked-in feel. SAFE Select is optional to use so if you are starting out you will appreciate the automatic self-levelling if you have a mid-air mishap plus there are also bank and pitch angle limits to ensure you stay within a manageable flight envelope. All of which adds up to make your E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF RC jet much easier to fly.

Compatible with common and affordable 2200mAh 4S 30+C batteries the E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF RC jet features brushless outrunner motors and twin 40mm fans that give you a superb blend of flight time and high performance. Functional three-position variable-sweep wings and full flying stabs give you scale detail and performance that is unmatched. Adding to the scale detail is the fully moulded and durable EPO airframe. The steerable nose wheel and fixed landing gear make it simple to take off and land on smooth surfaces. Alternatively, you can easily remove the landing gear and hand launch your E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF RC jet for more vertical performance and in-flight speed.
