The Blade 230 S Smart Ready-To-Fly Basic helicopter gives you one of the most widely used platforms to start your collective pitch heli flying journey. Featuring Spektrum Smart and SAFE technologies as well as a powerful and innovative DXS Spektrum transmitter. With three modes to choose from beginners can start out with Stability Mode with places self-levelling bank angle limits to your flight envelope. Once you start to feel more comfortable with your flying ability you can move to Intermediate Mode which keeps the head speed low but removes the bank limit making the transition from Stability Mode an easy one. With your flying ability now at a confident level you can switch it up to Agility Mode. When you switch your Blade 230 S Smart Ready-To-Fly Basic helicopter into Agility Mode you now have access to its full potential including tic tocs, stationary flips and more.

With the DXS Spektrum transmitter and Spektrum Smart technology on board the Blade 230 S Smart Ready-To-Fly Basic helicopter gives the pilot an advanced flying experience. Transmitting Smart Battery and ESC data straight through to your Spektrum transmitter the Smart Avian Spektrum 30-amp ESC is a one-wire solution that puts telemetry data such as voltage, temperature, motor output and RPM at your fingertips. The higher resolution signal input and extremely accurate motor output generated by the Avian ESC’s 32-bit M4 processor give the pilot an active and locked-in throttle response. Featuring the advanced AR6250MHX Spektrum flybarless system means the controller on the Blade 230 S Smart Ready-To-Fly Basic helicopter features forward programming, low-latency high-speed operation, advanced adaptive flight control algorithms, 6-axis MEMS inertial sensor and an aluminium lower case that is vibration rejecting.

In the early stages of your flying your Blade 230 S Smart Ready-To-Fly Basic RC helicopter may need the durable protection that the reinforced frame and main gear, metal gear servos and ABS main blades provide. The design of the Blade 230 S Smart means that blade strikes and light collisions can be handled reasonably well.
