The SCX10 III is renowned for its effectiveness on the trails and the Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD delivers that same performance with all of the key components included. To keep the cost down on this RC Rock Crawler, Axial has included the timeless single-speed transmission and reduced the number of moulded details. With a low centre of gravity for increased stability, the single-speed transmission has all-metal internal gears and a full set of ball bearings to ensure you have the strength and durability to go along with it. You have the option of switching the internal gears by installing Axial’s Standard Axle Conversion Kit (AXI238000) which is sold separately.

The steel C-channel chassis on the Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD is stiffened to increase suspension movement precision and reduce frame flexing. The suspension geometry on the Base Camp is optimized with the front suspension set to reduce bump steer and the rear 4-link suspension reduces torque twist. The oil-filled shocks have a single coilover spring and aluminium threaded bodies while the performance-tuned suspension has all-metal links. The shocks on the Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD are also tunable to produce the best dampening rate and their increased bore size facilitates increased fluid volume giving you better on-track performance.

The officially licensed Falken Wildpeak tyres are fitted to the licensed Black Rhino Wheels to give your Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD not only great scale looks but superb grip on off-road surfaces and good ground clearance.
