Crawling enthusiasts now have an even more effective and realistic way to manoeuvre with the new version of the Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy now available. Featuring front and rear steering this new Capra is even more capable when you are tackling the rocks.

In order to give the Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy enhanced manoeuvrability, the Axial engineers have equipped steering axles at both ends of this RC crawler to give it four-wheel steering. With the DX3 Spektrum transmitter concluded you can use its third channel button to steer the rear axle from 0 (straight ahead) to 50 or 100% left or right in order to position your tyres exactly where you need them to get over the toughest of obstacles. Subtle manoeuvring like this is needed in full-scale competition crawling in order to avoid losing points from reversing or hitting a marker on the course. Another reason the Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy brings the realism!

Facilitating additional steering is not the only advantage you get with your Spektrum DX3 transmitter. The exclusive DSMR technology in this radio gives you superb response, range and interference resistance. The Spektrum Firma 2-in-1 Smart 40mAh ESC/Receiver is also fully compatible with Smart Telemetry technology. Fit your Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy out with a Spektrum Smart LiPo pack and you’ll have access, through your DX3, to on-board telemetry data such as remaining battery capacity. All of these electronics are protected by a dust and waterproof design to ensure you can keep driving with confidence in any conditions.

There is an optional Dig setup on the Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy. Upgrade to a 4+ channel radio and install a micro servo where the spacer inside the transmission currently is and you’ll have Dig and rear steering capabilities. This means you can flick a switch on your transmitter and activate Dig which will lock the rear-drive axle. You can then pull the Capra around by the front end while the rear holds its place on the rocks.

The Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy features a tube chassis that is optimized for tyre clearance and suspension while also giving a realistic scale rock crawler buggy look. Over 45% of steering is delivered by the Currie F9 Portal Axles that give you even more ground clearance. Smoother action is produced by the metal universals on both axles giving the Capra a durable and efficient drivetrain. Strengthened, precise and durable suspension points are provided by rustproof stainless steel links and suspension pivots throughout the vehicle. Hard anodized shock bodies are threaded for a long-lasting and smooth finish. The dampening can be adjusted to optimise the suspension settings by decreasing or increasing the spring pre-load by easily rotating the threaded shock collars.

Mounted on licensed Raceline injection moulded wheels with a 3-piece beadlock design are the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tyres that are also fully licensed. These tyres offer a wider tyre patch for increased traction and increased ground clearance that allow your Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy superb and precise control in backyards, competition courses, or, out on the trail.

The Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy RTR includes the receiver/ESC, motor, two steering servos, and, transmitter with AA batteries. You just need to provide your battery of choice and a charger and you’re good to go!
