The Scirocco XL is a high-performance glider model in modern GRP/CFRP shell construction with very high strength. The H-shaped main spar in sandwich construction made of Airex as a support material with laminated carbon fiber fabric has been significantly reinforced. Suitable for the hobby pilot who is looking for an all-round glider with a focus on thermal flight, but still does not want to do without light aerobatics such as rolls, loops, turns, etc. As usual, the elaborate shapely design enables excellent flight attitude detection. The wing insertion from the middle section to the outer surfaces is force-fit and clean by means of a CFRP square spar.
