Losi have jumped to the front of the RC manufacturers pack with the ready-to-run, 1/10 scale 2WD 22S Sprint making the best RC dirt oval racing experience available to all drivers right out of the box. 

With a large growth in RC dirt oval racing over the last few years, it has been hard to find a ready-to-run RC sprint car with the performance and looks without having to piece together electronics and kits from different sources. Even then it was still a struggle to get consistently high performance from a sprint car that looked the part. That has now changed.

With the 22S Sprint, Losi brings you a sprint car with accurate scale looks and superior performance all for a fraction of the cost. There is some pedigree to this RC sprint car racer with the geometry based on the championship winning Team Losi Racing TLR 22. There are many different features in the 22S that experienced RC racers would expect to see including aluminium-bodied shocks and an aluminium chassis, as well as adjustable steel turnbuckles that give you increased durability to survive the rigours of crowded dirt oval course racing. The features on the all-metal transmission include a pre-filled with diff fluid sealed gear differential and an adjustable dual slipper clutch. The adjustable stops in your customisable battery tray allow you to use shorty packs or full length LiPo's with simple elastomer straps to keep your batteries securely in place. Your 22S Sprint can hit 40+km/h down the chutes with the 2S Spektrum brushless power system that has been installed.

Loaded with Scale Details 

There are a number of next level scale realism features on the 22S Sprint, including an electroplated and moulded exhaust, steering wheel and scale steering box interior, a post anchor device and race seat for a hand-painted driver figure, rock guard, steering linkage and faux Pitman arm, and wheel disk. The front and rear wings can easily be removed from your 22S Sprint for maintenance or to race in another class. The 2.2 inch officially licensed Hoosier tyres feature a soft compound perfectly suited to most tracks and are mounted to all-new chrome finished, scale correct 1.7/2.2” wheels with colour matched wheel covers on the right side. If you want to race on high wear/traction surfaces, a hard compound version of this tyre is available separately.

Powered by Spektrum 

The Spektrum combination that will push your Losi 22S Sprint to 40+ km/h includes a 3300Kv Firma 3650 brushless motor and a 45A Firma Smart Lite ESC. To complement this power system, a S684 Spektrum high-speed metal gear servo is fitted with a 25T solid servo horn for powerful and reliable steering capability. Its waterproof design allows you to head out in all conditions. The Spektrum SR215 receiver is telemetry equipped and factory installed and features dual protocol DSMR technology, allowing it to connect to advanced racing radios like the Spektrum iXSR and DX5. At 5.5ms the frame rate is lightning fast and provides a quick, low-latency connection for racing enthusiasts. An integrated antenna tube in the streamlined case offers antenna support and easy installation while the battery port can be used for a lap counting transponder. 

Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz Transmitter 

Along with interference-free control, the SLT2 transmitter offers steering reversing, steering rate, steering trim and other features that will come in handy. If you're a novice driver, you have the option of engaging the throttle limiting switch to limit your 22S Sprint to 50% or 75% of its full potential speed, which makes it perfect for learning control skills safely and gradually. 

Clipless Roll Cage/Body/Top Wing Mounting 

Scale roll cages on RC vehicles have at times made working on your vehicle more challenging than it needs to be. Disassembling the cage was sometimes the only option. Losi have equipped the 22S Sprint with one spring-loaded clip that will allow you to disengage the cage, body and top wing assembly from the chassis. Super easy and convenient!  

Upgrade your Losi 22S Sprint with Existing TLR and Losi Option Parts  

1/10th scale electric racing has long been dominated by the TLR 22 platform with the geometry from this platform being designed into the Losi 22S Sprint. What this means is that you have the choice of upgrading by using either Losi or TLR option parts. You can also customise the liveries on your 22S Sprint with your designs. The body panel templates can be downloaded for free, and from there you can put together a livery of your choosing.
