Hangar 9 have released the J-3 Cub 10cc 2.1m giant-scale replica of this iconic aircraft. Designed with the classic original look firmly in mind along with a flying experience that also features modern technology and convenience. 

Giant-Scale and Wood-Built to Offer A Unique Classic Cub Flying Experience

Features on J-3 Cub 10cc 2.1m include a 2-piece wing to make storage and transport easier with slots to hold the wing tube in the fuselage. The genuine UltraCote film covering covers the factory-assembled, lightweight lite-ply and balsa airframe. A full range of spares is available should you be unfortunate enough to damage any airframe parts or components beyond the point of a home repair job. 

Power it Your Way - Glow, Gas or Electric

This Almost Ready to Fly (ARF) version of the J-3 Cub 10cc 2.1m allows you to install either a fuel engine or electric power system like a .62 4-stroke glow, 11cc 4-stroke fuel or anything equivalent to those. You can also install any of the electronics that you prefer. 

The landing gear on the J-3 Cub 10cc 2.1m has superb scale detail with fabric bungee covers and Cub hubcaps on the standard wheels. If you're taking off from smooth surfaces you can also install the optional wheel pants. The other alternative is the optional silver-painted Carbon-Z float (EFLA5600S) and custom strut (EFLA5606) sets, both of which are sold separately if you want to take off and land at large lakes or dams. 

Attention to the smaller scale detail on the J-3 Cub 10cc 2.1m has been paid with several features including pilot bust, seats, transparent windows, tail bracing wires, wing struts and more. Skill Level 3 – Experience Required 

Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar class models. This ARF version requires more experience and skills to assemble than the PNP version because you will need to select and install a suitable power system and electronics. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models like the E-flite Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m, Turbo Timber SWS 2.0m, Carbon-Z Cessna 150T 2.1m, Carbon-Z Cub SS 2.1m, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the J-3 Cub 10cc.
