Ultra-fun, ultra-micro Radian RC Glider

With upgrades and updates the hugely popular UMX Radian is now more fun and even easier to fly! The traditional motor glider design on the UMX Radian makes it inherently stable which makes it perfect for flying indoors or outside. Equipped with Spektrum’s exclusive AS3X technology the UMX Radian benefits from hundreds of minor adjustments in flight to decrease the effects of turbulence and wind and gives the pilot a locked-in feel like you might be flying a much bigger Radian. The Ultra Micro Radian is now equipped with optional use SAFE Select technology as well. You can now set the bank and pitch angle limits as well as utilise the automatic self-levelling if you encounter any problems in flight. Once you’ve learnt the basics of flight this is a great next step and an excellent everyday flying model for novices and experts alike.

Included with the control unit/flight controller on the UMX Radian are two servos, an ESC, and, a Spektrum receiver that will give you real-time telemetry data including the remaining flight battery voltage. All you need is a Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitter (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and others) and this data is at your fingertips while you’re flying.

The UMX Radian is factory assembled and almost ready to launch as soon as you open the box. The one-piece wing just needs to be secured with a few screws, plug in your charged battery then bind it to your compatible Spektrum transmitter and away you go. The lightweight and durable EPS foam constructed airframe will take some punishment but if you need to replace a part a full range of spares is available. The polyhedral wing on the UMX Radian has a graceful curve and efficient airfoil which give you brilliant soaring performance and ensure long flight times whether you have the motor going or not. The power system on this mini RC glider has a coreless motor, gearbox and folding propellers for added efficiency when gliding and excellent performance when climbing.
