Built into this RC race buggy is the ability to increase from 2S to 3S power without needing to spend more on expensive upgrades or buying a completely new truck. If this is your first RC basher, a 2S LiPo is perfect, giving you 56+ km/h top speeds that will be challenging and fun for a beginner. Once your driving skills improve, you can put in a 3S LiPo and speeds of 80+ km/h are now at your disposal. 

Beginner-Friendly Features for Smooth Control

The 1/8 scale TYPHON 223S BLX 4X4 Race Buggy offers beginners other great features to keep things under control when you first start bashing at speed. The included high-quality SLT3 Spektrum transmitter includes throttle limiting functions so you can set that to 50% or 75% of throttle until you think you're ready to handle 100%. The other fantastic feature is Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), built into the Spektrum electronics factory-installed in your TYPHON race buggy. DSC has four selectable modes that apply subtle steering corrections automatically as you need them. These corrections serve to improve your control, safety and confidence regardless of the race surface type. Once you’re comfortable with your skills and experience you can simply turn DSC off and then it's all down to you.

Wet weather needn't be a hindrance to your TYPHON driving experience as both the Spektrum S662 metal-geared digital steering servo and the Spektrum SLT 80A 2-in-1 brushless 2S/3S ESC and receiver unit are waterproof.
