The 1/8th scale ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 is an RTR brushed buggy that delivers ultimate capability, toughness and power. This is a great way to enter the 1/8th scale off-road racing scene at an affordable price. Once you've mastered the brushed power, this TYPHON has been designed with compatibility in mind so you can easily drop in a brushless system and upgrading to become even more powerful is a simple process. 

With wide arms, low centre of gravity, high downforce wing, and multi-surface tyres and wheels, the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 is a brilliant platform when entering the world of aggressive 1/8 scale bashing. Easy to handle and extra tough, the TYPHON enables you to tackle faster speeds and a larger-sized car with unwavering confidence.

Bigger, Faster, More Powerful MEGA 665 motor 

The predecessor of the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 had a 550-size motor fitted, but this newest version boasts an 11% larger motor, making it faster and more powerful. This larger power source is a 14-turn MEGA 665 brushed motor with a 35mm cooling fan and an aluminium motor heatsink, increasing the performance and efficiency. Included as standard with the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 is a 3S brushless-ready transmission, enabling you to shift to a brushless upgrade easily and efficiently. Instead of a slipper clutch, the TYPHON includes an overload coupling (torque limiter) to protect the transmission from excessive torque and reduce maintenance. 

The all-terrain independent suspension on the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 features coilover, oil-filled shocks to take landing bumps in your stride. You can also adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance when you know your chosen track features a lot of uneven surfaces. Keeping you gripped to the ground when it matters most are multi-surface dBoots 2-HO tread pattern tyres, ready to handle all conditions. To let dirt and water escape from the tyres, vent holes allow air in and out to flush out any impediments to your tyres traction performance. To further improve the grip and handling, the tyres are mounted on tough nylon wheels that include foam inserts. 

To keep on-board components cool, the durable chassis has been ventilated. It also features larger side guards to keep out dirt and debris. Because everyone loves good-looking electronics, they have come in a stealth monochrome, and there are also adjustable battery straps that will fit your choice of hardcase 2S LiPo battery.   

Ready-To-Run RC Buggy 

The body on your ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 comes factory-finished in a number of fresh and bold colour schemes (Blue, Yellow and Red) with the clipless body retention system hidden away to ensure it doesn't disrupt the aggressive and realistic looks. To complete the high performance on this RTR off-road racer, ARRMA have fitted it out with a high-quality Spektrum electronics package which includes a LiPo-ready, factory-fitted 2-in-1 SLT 40A ESC/Receiver, and a digital metal geared S661 servo, ensuring powerful and precise steering on tough terrain. The transmitter included with your TYPHON is a Spektrum SLT2 radio with a foam wheel for precise fingertip control and perfectly balanced to prevent fatigue. If you don't have the experience or want to give the kids a go, you can adjust the throttle limits at 50% or 75% until the driver is ready to unleash the beast at 100% capacity! 

All you need to do to get bashing tracks without mercy is add your choice of battery and charger. From there, your ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 will do the rest on your favourite gravel, dirt or grass tracks. Pin the throttle and hit the track or some jumps for RC off-road racing fun!
