The GROM 4X4 line-up has a new entrant with the ARRMA TYPHON GROM 223S BLX raising the bar for the level of performance a small-scale basher can achieve. The low price of the ARRMA TYPHON GROM 223S BLX doesn't mean you miss out on great performance. The ability to upgrade this RC basher has already been built in so once you've mastered the speed and capabilities of 2S power you can simply drop in a 3S battery and you can now enter the world of 80km/h + speeds.  

 One of the great features of the ARRMA TYPHON GROM 223S BLX is Spektrum's Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Built into the electronics of this Grom, DSC uses 4 different modes to automatically correct steering input as required to improve traction control and car safety and subsequently give you more confidence to push your RC buggy harder. Once your skills increase, you have the option of turning off the DSC and driving on feel alone.  

Under the bonnet, you'll find high-performance Spektrum electronics which includes a waterproof brushless SLT 2-in-1 25A ESC and Receiver, an SX110 waterproof metal geared servo and providing the grunt is a 4500Kv Spektrum Brushless motor. These electronics respond precisely with the included Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz 2-channel transmitter. From this transmitter, you'll also be able to set throttle limits of 50% to 75% until you're confident you can handle 100%. To complete the Spektrum package you also get a 7.4V Smart 1400mAh 30C 2S Hardcase LiPo with IC2 connectors and a Spektrum S10 Smart G2 Mini 2S USB-C Charger.    

The onboard electronics package in your ARRMA TYPHON GROM 223S BLX is fitted into a strong composite chassis, with an integrated high-speed fan that helps ventilate the onboard components. The enclosed 4WD drivetrain has strengthened metal gears and now comes equipped with oil-filled differentials. If you want to gain access to the internals, a clip-free body attachment mechanism is activated by a simple press and release. The body releases from the chassis with no clips and just snaps back into place quickly and easily. 

Because you'll no doubt put your TYPHON GROM through some punishment, it is already equipped with popular option parts from ARRMA that are built to cope with high-speed 3S bashing. These parts include a Metal Axle and Wheel Hub set (ARA311198), Adjustable Steering Links (ARA340208), Assembled Oil Filled Diff Set (ARA311193) and Aluminium Shock set (ARA330824). All of this is packed into a professionally factory-finished racing buggy body with a superb and distinctive colour scheme.

2S & 3S READY

Don’t compromise on performance by choosing between a 2S or 3S capable basher. The small-scale, go-anywhere TYPHON GROM 223S BLX buggy is ready for both. Start with a 2S LiPo for beginner-friendly speeds. When ready, install a 3S battery for blistering 50+ mph bashing! The included SLT2 radio can automatically limit top speed to a comfortable level until you’re ready for it all. 

DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)

Another unique feature that makes the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX ideal for new drivers is the Spektrum electronics’ Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). With four selectable modes, DSC will automatically apply steering corrections to improve your control, confidence, and safety, whether you’re bashing on high- or low-grip surfaces.
