Product Information
Months of hard work were invested in the engineering of this motor using many years of experience designing and producing Precision Aerobatics extremely successful line of Thrust® brushless motors (since 2006).
Many hours of long and tedious testing were required to reach the very high standards Precision Aerobatics aimed for with this all-new motor. They tested multiple styles of rotor fan blades and angles to achieve maximum efficiency. Months of AutoCAD engineering were needed to reduce every bit of weight without sacrificing the integrity of the motor.
Precision Aerobatics overcame the CNC production challenges and the result is a state-of-the-art integrated cooling fan incorporating angle and pitch on the inner surfaces.
Precision Aerobatics raised the bar once again making the lightest and most powerful motor in its class! They nearly doubled the poles which translates into a lot more torque (more magnets = more torque!!), minimising the gap between the magnets and stator which boosts up torque and thrust, and specially designed front fan rotor blades that create a vacuum of air, channelled between the magnets and stator then expelled through the end bell, keeping the motor cool to withstand hard 3D flying and abuse. They increased the stator lamination (0.2mm) to increase efficiency similar to that of very expensive F3A motors.
The development of the PA Thrust® motors has followed Precision Aerobatics' traditional design philosophy employed in their aircraft; which is doing things better. Thrust® 60 Revo motor is one of the coolest running high-performance, high-torque and high-efficiency brushless motors ever produced to date. The design incorporates their latest generation of RotorKool® which keeps the stator core material, the low resistance windings, highly permeable stator plates, high-quality NMB Japanese triple bearings and powerful neodymium magnets at optimum operating temperatures.

NOTE: During 3D flights, instant thrust at full power for a few seconds is required to get out of a manoeuvre. We based our static bench tests on this fact and took each reading after a few seconds at full power. We made multiple runs with each propeller to establish our final readings. Please note that every bench test reading will vary depending on your testing equipment, ESC setup, ambient temperature, altitude, duration of run, battery condition and more.
* It is essential to allow good air flow (using the supplied air baffles and installing the gear per the instruction manual) over the motor, ESC and batteries under normal RC hobby use only, otherwise, the gear may exceed the allowed temperatures and get damaged.
