Ultra-Micro Replica of the Cirrus SR22T

As an officially licensed replica of the world's best-selling personal aircraft the E-flite UMX Cirrus SR22T is a fully factory-assembled elegant masterpiece that reflects its full-scale counterpart with brilliant scale detail. Apart from looking good, it is also equipped with Spektrum 2.4GHz industry-leading technology that will bind to your 5+ channel DSMX/DSM2 equipped transmitter. Being an ultra micro this Cirrus can be flown in a lot more spaces like small parks, sports fields, large yards and many other places.  

Compared to the original UMX Cirrus the upgrades and updates to this new model have made the motor not only quieter and more powerful but also compatible with affordable and popular 2S and 3S 280-300mAh LiPo batteries. You may need a JST-RCY to JST-PH adapter (SPMXCA327) to facilitate this function. With 2S LiPo you'll enjoy the regular flight patterns of the Ultra Micro but plug in a 3S and you'll get unlimited vertical performance and a lot more speed!       

Spektrum Technologies 

The E-flite UMX Cirrus SR22T two different Spektrum technologies designed to help make flying easier for RC pilots. AS3X technology works in the background helping to smooth out the effects of turbulence and wind with hundreds of tiny adjustments giving you a locked-in feel and making it seem like you are at the controls of a much larger aircraft. SAFE Select technology is optional use and if you choose to switch it on you get automatic self-levelling in case you lose control mid-air. You also get pitch and bank angle limits that keep you flying within a set flight envelope. At least until you're confident to take full control of the aircraft. 

The Spektrum receiver and ESC give the pilot real-time flight battery voltage telemetry data when used with compatible Spektrum AirWare (app available online) equipped transmitters which include the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others while you fly. 

True-to-Scale Outline 

The scale detail on the UMX Cirrus SR22T is based on CAD drawings provided to E-flite by Cirrus Aircraft. You can't get more true-to-scale detail than that. Also included are extensive cockpit detail visible through the clear windows, a steerable nose wheel on the streamlined landing gear, and, fully functional LED wingtip lights that make it possible to get your Cirrus airborne after dark. Throw in the G7 "Platinum" trim scheme and you have an RC aircraft that stands out from the crowd.   

Durable, Yet Lightweight EPS Material 

The lightweight and durable airframe on the E-flite UMX Cirrus SR22T is constructed from advanced EPS material that is stiffer and lighter than EPO or EPP and also gives you more surface detail. If you do damage it and it is repairable you can do so with foam-friendly adhesives. If a repair is not possible then you will find that a full line of replacement parts is easily available. 

The Advantages of Bind-N-Fly

Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever when you have a Spektrum transmitter. They come out of the box with the power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed, so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly! 

Skill Level 2 Aircraft 

Skill Level 2 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots with experience and the skills to assemble and/or set up and fly similar class models. Although this is the easiest-to-fly Cirrus model yet, it’s not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft for new pilots or a “next step after a trainer” model for low-time RC pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly higher performance ultra-micro models like the various UMX Timber models, or larger models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, the Commander mPd 1.4m, Timber 1.5m models, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the UMX Cirrus SR22T.
