E-Flite Ultra Stick 1.1m RC Plane, BNF Basic, EFL14050

Based on the design of the larger Hangar 9 Ultra Stick models the E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m also took some inspiration from the iconic Mini Ultra Stick. The features that made the Mini Ultra Stick E-flite's all-time top seller back in 2005 as their first ever balsa wood PNP and ARF model have been improved upon in the new E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m. You will still get the strengthened, lightweight built-up wood construction but new features include stiffer tail surfaces that can be installed quickly with two locknuts, and, a stronger mounting area for the main gear installed with four bolts. With the turn of a single thumbscrew, the easy-to-install/remove one-piece wing is on or off and is set up to accept an additional two servos in order to split the ailerons for 'crow' and/or flaps plus full-span flaperon/spoileron/aileron setups. 

The ultra-slick Ultra Stick from E-flite

The Basic BNF version of the E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m RC plane is equipped with a 3S and 4S compatible Spektrum motor, four factory-installed metal geared servos, and a 45-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC that will provide the pilot with real-time power system telemetry data with either Smart or non-Smart batteries as long as your transmitter is equipped with Spektrum AirWare. There is a Spektrum AR631 receiver fitted in the E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m that provides fly-by range and real-time telemetry data including current, ESC temps, battery voltage plus more. You have the option to use motor reversing for special ground handling as well as other capabilities.  

You will also get exclusive onboard technology to help you fly with AS3X which works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence and give you a locked-in feel. There is also optional-use SAFE Select flight envelope protection which sets bank angle limits and has a recovery function amongst other things to aid the pilot in getting comfortable flying their E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m. The low-speed flight characteristics are borrowed from its bigger brother, the larger Hangar 9 Ultra Stick and give the pilot easier landings but also provide excellent high-speed handling and a mid-range level of 3D aerobatic capabilities. There are also optional wheel pants (sold separately) that you can install. Overall this E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m is a perfect first-ever balsa wood everyday flyer that will keep a wide range of pilots enthralled with its sport and aerobatic capabilities.
