The E-flite Turbo Timber SWS (Sport Wood Series) 2.0m RC plane continues the legacy of the Timber series, known for its friendly handling, sporty performance and Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities. This larger version is crafted from balsa and lite ply covered with genuine UltraCote film covering, making the airframe lightweight and strong, offering a flying experience you can't get from foam models.  

First-ever wood E-flite Timber RC plane

You can have the Turbo Timber SWS 2.0m up in the air in almost no time as it is mostly factory-assembled with no special tools or glue needed to put it together. Transport and storage are easy with a two-piece wing, and its functional flaps enhance low-speed performance, plus you have the option to utilise crow and/or full-span flaperons for improved short take-off and landing capabilities. 

Reliable Spektrum electronics with exclusive technologies

Ideal for intermediate to experienced pilots, the Bind-N-Fly version comes equipped with six factory-installed digital and metal-geared Spektrum A6380 servos and a 4S to 6S compatible Avian 5055-500Kv outrunner motor that offers a broad range of performance capabilities. Install a 3200-7200mAh 4S battery for basic aerobatics and sport flying or a 6S battery for hovering to unlimited vertical performance. Plus, the practical top-mounted hatch makes those battery changes a breeze. 

The included Spektrum Avian 100A Smart ESC can provide various power system-related telemetry data such as motor RPM, overall battery voltage, ESC temp, current draw and more to your Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters via the Spektrum AR8360T receiver for an immersive flying experience. The AR8360T also features exclusive AS3X and SAFE select technologies that make this RC plane easier to fly. 

With oversized tundra-style wheels and tyres, the Turbo Timber SWS 2.0m conquers diverse terrains with its robust aluminium landing gear. You can even take off and land on water with the optional Carbon-Z® floats (EFLA5600 - sold separately) and mounting (EFLA5605 - sold separately) sets, that are easy to swap between wheels and floats. This RC plane is equipped with transparent windows as well as LED navigation and landing lights for scale-like aesthetics. 

Sport and aerobatic large-scale RC plane

All of this comes together to create a great first-timer balsa, day-to-day sport flyer and aerobatic capable, large-scale model for pilots who have some experience behind the sticks. Although this aircraft features SAFE Select and AS3X technologies, it is not suited for new pilots or pilots who have had little experience. Before attempting to fly the Turbo Timber SWS 2.0m RC plane, you should have the skills to be able to fly large and/or STOL capable aircraft like the E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150T 2.1m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m, Carbon-Z Cub SS 2.1m or other similar class models.
