E-Flite EC-1500 Twin Cargo RC Plane, BNF Basic, EFL15750

The E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m has an incredible flight envelope capable of delivering everything from slow scale-like flying, and sport flying right through to aggressive 3D aerobatics. In other words something for a wide range of pilots! The optimized design of the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m delivers capability, FUN and versatility and it feels like there are many different airplanes in one. You could be forgiven for thinking that because of its 1.5m wingspan that the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin is a little undersized. You would be wrong. Because of the large diameter fuselage, tail surfaces and wing chord and area, it will fly bigger than it may seem in writing. It's still light enough to perform with a composite-reinforced, extremely durable and lightweight EPO airframe. 

Uniquely capable and versatile RC plane

The brushless outrunner motors on the twin power systems turn the custom five-blade counter-rotating propellers that can be much more securely and easily installed due to the updated bolt-to-the-motor prop adapters. With a 3S 3200-6400mAh LiPo battery hooked up to this setup, you get excellent performance. However, if you want to get unlimited vertical capability and be able to hover you can install a 4S LiPo without the need for any modifications. The twin motors are paired with the Spektrum 40-amp Avian Dual Smart ESC that can deliver the pilot a variety of real-time telemetry data regarding the power system with either Smart or non-Smart batteries with compatible receivers including the Spektrum AR8360T installed in the BNF Basic version of the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m. You will also need to have a Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitter. This telemetry data includes ESC temperature, battery voltage levels plus much more.  

The E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m is equipped with differential thrust and motor reversing to assist with ground handling. Optional use SAFE Select technology along with AS3X technology makes flying the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m a lot easier. The eight-channel AR8360T Spektrum receiver along with functional flaps and selectable-size ailerons that can travel both ways also allow you multiple wing configuration options – including "crow” and/or full-span flaperon/aileron/spoileron setups.

The servos on the control surfaces are all metal geared and amongst the eight factory-installed servos on the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m. The fully functional cargo door is also controlled by one of these servos which allows you to carry and drop payloads of your choosing from the large cargo bay. Fly from dawn until dusk with realistic LED navigation, landing and simulated strobe lights powered by the flight battery. Take off and land on a variety of surfaces including snow (skis included). You also have the option of flying from water with optional floats sold separately.  

Aerial filming and photography are enabled by the magnetically secured nose cone on the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m which allows you to install a GoPro or similar camera (sold separately) or you have the option of mounting a separate FPV camera on the large top hatch. There is a range of decals included with the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m allowing you to customize the fully painted grey finish with US Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, and Marines along with other markings for additional personalisation. All up the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m is a versatile, capable and fun fly for intermediate to experienced pilots interested in a range of different flying options.   

Designed for intermediate to experienced RC pilots

The BNF Basic version of the E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m is a Skill Level 2 RC aircraft meaning it is suitable for RC pilots who already have the skills and experience to assemble/set up/fly similar class models. Although it is equipped with optional-use SAFE Select it is not suitable for beginners, or a next step after a trainer model for low-hours RC pilots, or, a first 3D capable model for intermediate pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly higher performance, 3D capable and/or twin-powered models like the E-flite Twin Timber 1.6m, Timber X 1.2m, Extra 300 3D 1.3m, Ultra Stick 1.1m, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the EC-1500 Twin 1.5m.
