The Gracia Maxi is an ARF light thermal electric glider for competition flying F5J with a wingspan of 3.52 m. Featuring a carbon-reinforced epoxy fibreglass fuselage and 3 piece wing of balsa and carbon construction, this is an amazing electric soaring machine. Very suitable for F5J competition or sport thermal flying. The model features ailerons, flaps and rudder/elevator via the V tail and requires 6 micro servos (sold separately) Power is provided from the brushless motor (sold separately).
The wing spars and leading edge are from carbon fibre giving the wing enough strength and stiffness. The 3 piece wing is covered with transparent red & orange Ultracote. Many expert pilots will be particularly surprised by its excellent flight qualities, given the thin wing airfoil and low weight. Thanks to the long fuselage, the model has a calm and steady glide path. There are several possibilities for how to mix the functions of the flaps (high-performance thermal soaring, spot landing etc.). With the recommended gear train, the performance is fantastic as well as the climbing (power) and soaring (lightness) and the flying time is counted in hours rather than in minutes!
