First quad was an Inductrix Pro and once I got the hand of this I upgraded to the Spedix S250 Pro BNF. This does need to be set up and the video link provided was a help. So far I have been happy with the Spedix but have not started FPV yet as I still need more flying time, but after 12 odd flights I'm confident that I'm getting there. Bought the suggested 1300ma 3S batteries but should have rather researched first and purchased 3S 1800ma instead.
  • Great medium skill Quad

The videos of setup were helpful, however some might struggle getting it all working, but the staff at model flight were excellent and took the time to ensure it was all setup when i came back in!
The arms are a bit of a weak point, and as a beginner you'll crash a lot and snap quite a few. Downside is there is soldering required when replacing arms so it can be a bit fiddly but not impossible for someone with the tools of this hobby.
This quad is quick, very quick. With the 3s battery it recommends it lasts 13 minutes with moderate flying, probably less if you fly it better than I can! The stock camera is excellent, no need to look for an upgrade!
Overall the quad is excellent value, completely customisable via cleanflight making it an excellent quad from beginners to advanced.

I would recommend getting spare arms and many spare props, as well as the 2200 3S batteries as they're a great power/weight ratio!
  • Great starter drone and it zooms along.

Very easy to setup via the videos , I used a Spektrum 6 and it was up straight away. Only crashed once when I took off a bit fast otherwise it has been extremely stable. I would recommend putting a zip tie on the camera mount and video cable (loose) as they go flying in a bingle over 20metres. ( might have hit the prop) - I haven't found the video cable yet.

Video output is clear and flying time is good. Not sure about the low battery alarm, it seems to be expecting a 4 cell but I couldnt see an option in the OSD or cleanflight menus. I upgraded the cleanflight version to get battery monitoring but this didnt seem to help. It flew fine after that. It is sturdy for sure.
