Straight out of the box this plane takes to the air magnificently. Even for my first attempt at flying I had this thing up in the air without any problems!

I even had a bit of wind which it handled really well.

Great beginner plane. Flew great until a magpie decided to destroy it. There is a video online for proof!

Loved this plane. Great for making the move from RC cars etc to the air.

The TX included with the RTF is pretty ave, so dont let that put you off. Bind it to a decent Spektrum TX (I have a 6i) & it's so much easier. No need to muck around with Dual-Rates etc. Just fly!

GREAT battery life from it's tiny 1s!

After numerous repairs this plane is flying really well. It works best with the transmitter that comes with the plane.

A great indoor plane for a large hall.

My eleven year old was able to teach himself to fly this plane. Very easy to fly and everything including batteries in the box. Box makes great carrying case as no plane assembly needed. Needs windless conditions as the plane is very light. The tailplane on ours is most prone to damage, it can be bought as a spare part. Very happy with the Champ.

Had a terrible time teaching my self how to fly until I finally discovered this little beauty. After tearing up over 6 models, this was an absolute relief. I recommend this plane as the ONLY plane to learn on. It's virtually flyes it's self and can take many beatings. I suggest a set of spare wins and propellers just in case.
  • Bad Luck.

I must have bought a dud plane. The elevator gave trouble from day 1, and I had to replace the wing. The next flight resulted in a damaged rudder hinge and broken tail, so replaced the entire section. The elevator servo kept getting stuck, so opened the plane and cleaned the gears. That fixed the problem.

I tested the plane indoors for a few hours. The engine sometimes cut out, and the plane needed a lot of elevator to take off. I adjusted the trims and tested it again.

Today the plane seemed difficult to control and landed in a tree. After getting it down the lower rudder hinge was torn. So now replacing it again. My other ParkZone works well, so either I still need to figure this plane out, or have a dud plane.

I would have thought this would be easy to fly. Maybe my future ParkZone planes will be better.

Great kit, all ready to go for flying. I recommend buying a spare wing (available on this website) or two. Great fun on a nice calm day at you local oval. Not your backyard.
