When Gil Losi Jr and his dad Pops started selling homemade RC aftermarket accessories and parts at their local skatepark Team Losi was born. It quickly turned into a mini hobby shop and over the next 10 years, they purchased the renowned Ranch Pit Shop and from there developed their first race-ready RC vehicle – the JRX2. With 5-link suspension and a graphite chassis, the original JRX2 turned the whole RC racing scene on its head and became known as of the most innovative and iconic RC cars of all time.

Retro JRX2 looks with modern performance

For a number of years now there has been demand from racing enthusiasts for a re-release of the JRX2 buggy that put Losi on the worldwide RC map. That time has come with the release of the new mini 1/16th scale JRX2. This pocket rocket combines the nostalgic looks of its ancestors with some modern-day technology for increased performance.

The Losi Mini JRX2 RC Buggy is nearly a carbon copy of the original JRX2 with some minor changes to increase durability and performance. With era-specific front ribbed tyres, aluminium shocks and 5-link suspension providing maximum grip you get all the looks of the original with more capability. The Losi Mini JRX2 RC Buggy, like the original, has a rear motor configuration and comes with a 650mAh LiPo giving you 10+ minutes of run time with a 0.5A USB charger for easy recharges. The retro look is made perfect with three different trim schemes that mirror those on the original box art from back in the day - red, black or blue. This is good to go straight out of the box and, like the original before it, will give you an unforgettable drive in an iconic RC Buggy.
