The DJI Inspire 2 builds on the amazing legacy the Inspire 1 provide professional users now empowering them to be more creative than ever before. Whether flying with dual control, or just on your own as a single pilot, the Inspire 2 affords the user complete control no matter the type of shoot or environment.

With a dedicated 2-axis stabilised FPV camera system including independently adjustable pitch, giving the pilot a professional live feed freeing the camera operator to move anyway they need and nail that perfect shot. Speed is always key in a professional shoot and the Inspire 2 delivers an impressive 94kmph (58mph), this has also been increased on the ascent and descent versus its predecessor.

DJI Inspire 2

This type of performance doesn't come without protection. DJI’s unmatched Flight Autonomy comes to Inspire 2 with extended range meaning faster flight with protection from what it can “see”. It also adds and infrared sensing system placed on top of the craft extending obstacle avoidance to obstructions overhead.

The new dual battery design increases flight times getting a maximum of 25 - 27 minutes and also provides battery redundancy. Self-heating technology is also built-in to the Intelligent Flight Batteries allowing the Inspire 2 to fly in temperatures as low as -20°C.

DJI Inspire 2

The DJI Inspire 2 image processor known as CineCore 2.0 offers CinemaDNG*, ProRes*, H.264 and H.265 recording onto a detachable PCIE SSD drive with a maximum read and write speed of 6 Gbps or a Micro SD card. ProRes is a widely used delivery method for post production, offering flexibility for editing while not compromising image quality.

But to get the absolute most out of what you shoot the Inspire 2 also captures RAW. Acquiring content in RAW gives you more information to work with in your post-process. The RAW native CinemaDNG format gives you the most dynamic range possible at the camera. It basically takes full advantage of the sensor and everything that it can see.

Capture complex images easily with Spotlight Pro

New intelligent modes including Spotlight Pro and Profile make cinematic shots easier for production teams and even for single operators. Spotlight Pro keeps the camera locked on the subject rotating beyond 360 degrees to a fixed target in frame as the inspire flies. While the Profile Mode turns the camera to capture the subject's profile as the inspire flies forward. By minting forward flight, obstacle sensing systems are able to protect the aircraft.

Spotlight Pro Inspire 2

The onboard FPV camera separates the flight view from the main camera view, effectively giving the Inspire 2 a dedicated TapFly camera. Just tap on the screen to fly in that direction and focus on camera control.

ActiveTrack Mode is also featured in the Inspire 2. It lets you track a range of objects from people, to bikes, cars and even boats. You can change the tracking profile within ActiveTrack based on the subject being tracked for greater precision.

During Return To Home the primary camera with a maximum sensing range of 200 metres is used to effectively avoid obstructions.

DJI GO 4 App

All of the controls and customisations of the DJI Inspire 2 are controlled via the DJI GO 4 App. It can be used to control camera settings, enable Intelligent flight modes, check flight status of the aircraft in real time, trigger automatic take-off or Return to home and so much more.
