The ParkZone KA8 RC Sailplane – New Release!

ParkZone made a big addition to their range of RC sailplanes today with the launch of the KA8. The KA8 offers fantastic scale design and appearance and with its Z-Foam construction, it is a lightweight, yet rigid model. This RC glider is modelled on the German Schleicher Ka 8, which is commonly used as a pilot's first single-seat sailplane.   On Modelflight's YouTube channel, Mike was able to put together this preview video on this RC sailplane (along with the new E-Flite UMX Yak 54 180). Check it out below:

As Mike highlights, there are many exciting features with the ParkZone KA8 RC sailplane, including a new E-Flite voltage regulator and AR610 receiver from Spektrum.   In order to give you a closer look at this sailplane, Matt created an unboxing video, which also gives you step-by-step instructions for assembling the KA8. You can watch this video below:

As you can see, this RC glider can be assembled in a short period of time, meaning more time in sky! With its classic 2.25 metre size and fixed main wheel, the KA8 Sailplane certainly has a great appearance. The KA8 is available as a BNF or PNP model. It has a 4 channel operation out of the box (including aileron, elevator, rudder control and proportional wing spoilers). There is also a 5th channel for the optional tow release, which is used in conjunction with the servo-less payload release available from E-Flite. In either case, Modelflight would recommend the use of a Spektrum DX6i transmitter.       If you are looking to branch into sailplane flying or you are looking for an easy-to-assemble model that can be flown in smaller areas, you will love the new KA8 RC Sailplane from ParkZone. This model is coming soon to Modelflight, so visit our website today to find out more.
