Responsibility We will go all out to help you choose the right combination of products for your hobbying needs. And we'll bend over backwards to make sure you're satisfied. But unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for injury and/or crash damage or loss of kits, engines and accessories, parts and materials that occurs during the use of any radio-controlled model. The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith. If you substitute or replace normal kit hardware and/or radio components with after-market accessories, Model Flight cannot be held responsible for problems or equipment failure caused by incompatibility or modifications. This includes all other products sold by Model Flight. General Errors Model Flight makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published in our catalogues and on our Web site(s). If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, Model Flight shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. Model Flight reserves to right to upgrade the freight method to a courier service at no extra cost to the recipient. Model Flight reserves to right to cancel an order if it deems the freight method is not acceptable to ensure the parcel arrives in acceptable conditions. Please note that large or heavy items CANNOT be shipped to PO Boxes. We must have a street address for any item/Parcel totalling over 5kg in weight or over 1050mm in length. Available Freight options
Australia Post - This is an ordinary Post Service and is not insured and is used at the clients OWN RISK. No Tracking number exists. For insured freight, please select the courier option. Couriers - We use a combination of TOLL PRIORITY / AUST AIR EXPRESS. These services are insured and have online track and trace systems. We can authorize the couriers to 'Leave without signature' by your request, but this invalidates any insurance for Lostâ parcels showing a successful delivery. All dispatched orders have an email advice automatically sent to your email address provided with the order. If you do not receive any of these emails then please add modelflight.com.au in your email programs 'Friends list' to stop it being deleted with SPAM. You may need to talk with your ISP as they can also accidentally 'Blacklist' domains that send a lot of emails. We recently found any clients using AAPT email addresses in USA were not getting ANY emails from us. International Orders
Due to payments using Paypal's Buyer protection scheme, we reserve the right to cancel orders that have airmail as a freight option. Airmail has neither Insurance, Proof of Delivery nor Online tracking as required for the Buyer protection scheme. Airmail orders over USD$100 WILL BE CANCELLED immediately without consultation. For security reasons, Modelflight will only ship international orders to the customer's BILLING ADDRESS, unless proof of residence can otherwise be proven. Modelflight reserves the right to cancel any international orders if billing and shipping addresses are different or under any suspicious circumstances. All prices on Modelflight.com.au include GST. GST will be deducted if your shipping address is outwith Australia. International deliveries may be subject to Customs duties and or Taxes in your Country. Payment of this is the responsibility of the customer, NOT Modelflight or its Suppliers. Modelflight is NOT responsible for any taxes or customs duties in your home country. Missing or Damaged Shipments Please be sure to reconcile the number of boxes shipped with the number of boxes received. On occasion carriers may deliver boxes separately. Please note that ground and air shipments are often assigned to separate trucks and may arrive at different times of the day. Please do not accept boxes with exterior damage. If the box has been delivered without your signature, contact the carrier before opening the package. The carrier will need to inspect the box and verify any damage before refund or replacement can occur. Returns and Refunds Ensuring that our customers are 100% satisfied is of the utmost importance to the Model Flight team. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we will happily organise a refund or an exchange for you within 12 months, so long as the products are returned to us in a saleable condition under the following guidelines. Returns Policy Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. The mounting of engines and accessories, running fuel through engines, cutting or pushing out the balsa sheets in kits, and other similar actions constitutes used merchandise. Radios must be returned with unmounted servos and switch harness. When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process your return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. ARF kits are specially packaged to insure safe shipping of all contents. In order to receive credit for a returned ARF, the contents must be returned in the original plastic covers and arranged in a manner that will not damage the contents or packaging. Please return your item to Modelflight with a completed Returns form. Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to our shop. 12month Warranty
Modelflight warrants to the original purchaser, that any Modelflight purchase will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase, or we'll replace it at no charge, you pay only for return shipping and handling. (Proof of purchase from Modelflight must be provided).
Please return your item to Modelflight with a completed Returns Form. Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to our shop.
Modelflight cannot cover its products from accidental damage, general wear and tear, or crashes due to carelessness and/or the associated use of other accessories/power supplies and this remains at the discretion on Modelflight management. |
