The Nyx is the latest development from the Hera/Artemis boys. Aerodynamically computer optimized and designed, it represents the results of the combination of the top pilots and designers know how, which lead to a model far beyond the current top racing sailplanes. A true CAD/CAM design. Every part was CNC machined for perfect accuracy and best airfoil efficiency. The facts are very efficient wing, stabilizer and fin plan form (yes, the fin is a true airfoil!). A new airfoil (HN-354SR) with excellent wind penetration and surprisingly great thermalling ability. This well balanced design has an outstanding handling, very easy to master, actually it thermals by itself. The Nyx comes in three different lay up options: XLT: Glass/balsa/glass skin, special spar layup, w/Kevlar & carbon fuselage. 1800 g (similar to the Artemis LT+). F3J: Kevlar/carbon "D" tube & Kevlar/carbon fuselage, ballast tube. 1900 g. F3B: All carbon skin, Kevlar/carbon fuselage, large ballast tube. 2200 g.
