Beginner or expert - The Twister CP V2 is designed for newcomers through to expert pilots. Beginners will find that controlling a collective pitch CCPM helicopter is markedly easier than a fixed pitch helicopter - despite the more complex control system. The new carbon main blades impart a significant increase in precision and overall handling. Experienced pilots will enjoy the spectacular aerobatic and circuit performance of a model that handles as well outdoors as at does indoors.

The Twister CP V2 employs the highest quality CCPM (cyclic and collective pitch mixing) control systems and engineering. Collective pitch provides much easier height control than fixed pitch and although more complex mechanically, makes flying easier and more stable. Even outdoor circuit flight and aerobatics (or 3D flight) is easily achievable using the Twister CP V2.

Materials and technology - Careful and appropriate use of carbon fibre has been made throughout to improve strength and save weight, whilst many precision miniature ball bearings support the important components. The '4-in-1' on-board electronics package includes 6 channel receiver, piezo gyro, electronic mixers and speed controllers PLUS a computer fail-safe, an LED system check, and a motor safe-start facility. The fail-safe cuts power to the main motor in the event of transmitter failure, whilst the safe-start only allows starting when the throttle stick is low­–so there is no danger of connecting the flight battery and inadvertently sending power instantly to the motors.
High quality 36Mhz FM transmitter- The CCPM transmitter has been designed specifically for flying the CP and features high quality, adjustable stick units.

The Twister CP V2 is ready to fly and requires only a suitable 12V DC charging source. It is designed for use indoors or outdoors in an adequate and safe space. The Twister CP V2 performs magnificently outdoors and has a sparkling climb rate and great aerobatic performance. Straight line stability in fast forward flight is excellent and is on a par with professional model helicopters many times its size!

This helicopter is recommended as the next step up from the counter rotating type (Alpine Rescue, Twister Bell 47 & Outback Rescue) helicopters. This is not suitable for first time helicopter pilots.
