The strong looks and classic lines remain, even today, unique to this proud and historic design. Watt Age has captured the strength and beauty of the PT-17 in this modern electric powered ARF. The wings and tail are hand crafted from select balsawood and the hand covered in high quality iron on covering. The fuselage is formed from a handcrafted mold with scale details not usually found in an aircraft of this size from quality plastic selected for its strength and weight and then hand painted. Stearman PT17 Features: Also included is a factory assembled and a hand painted simulated radial engine. So, in the air and on the ground it has the beautiful appearance of a radial engine. But, of course, it is electric powered so you have the reliability of a quiet electric flight. The Stearman from Watt Age is easy to assemble, looks great, and is a joy to fly and own.
