The Vasa F5 is an exciting new EDF model designed and produced in the Czech Republic. The kit includes an extremely lightweight epoxy glass fuselage along with a number of other glass mouldings of equal quality, including the air intakes, ducting, and hatches required to complete the model. 
The wings are foam with a veneer of sanded contest grade balsa complete with ready hinged ailerons and formed tips that are prepared and ready to be covered. The kit is supplied with the excellent carbon fibre Vasa 65 fan unit, and preformed control linkages. 
Quoted flying weight for the F5 is less than 1100g. The wingspan is 700mm, and the length, 1050mm. The model gives excellent performance when fitted with the recommended power system of 10 cell 1600 pack, MGM ESC and Mega 16/15/2 along with three JR NES371 servos (2 aileron, 1 elevator) The F5 is very FAST and requires a rail launch system such as the VAS600.
