Overview
Want a sports aerobatic model that is economic to buy, economic to operate and stunning to fly? Youve just found it!
The ST Models MX-2 is based on the full size, aerobatic aircraft of the same name and then modified for model flying characteristics.
Supplied complete with powerful 920Kv brushless motor, 13 x 4 propeller, a 30A brushless ESC, four powerful new 9g servos and with them all pre-installed. All that is needed is 30 minutes of final assembly and applying the stunning colour decals.
Setups are provided for both sports and 3D flying (even mixes). For serious 3D pilots, the movements make maneouvres like static loops, rolls and the waterfall and parachute are quite within your reach.
To provide that 3D control power with precision has been achieved with a totally new servo amplifier to give high resolution and holding power combined with strong torque. The control pushrods are kept short by placing each servo close to the surface it is operating.
Using a 3S 2100-2500mAh Li-Po, there is enough power to hover vertically with ease and then punch out straight up! The choice of a 12 x 5 propeller limits the torque turn effect and eases current consumption by matching the load and motor power/Kv rating effectively. Torque rolss are possible in both directions. Access to the battery is via a clip-in underside hatch, simple!
Like all ST models, the airframe is moulded accurately in ding resistant EPO foam. The wings are removable by slackening just two screws and sliding them off the tubular carbon spar tube. Great for compact transportation. Access to the radio compartment requires pulling off the clip-on canopy moulding.
The tough, aluminium undercarrige soaks up those landings on our club patches so well, but the model is hardly moving forward anyway!
As a model to hone your aerobatic skills or just cruise around on a Sunday afternoon, the ST Models MX-2 is hard to beat.

Ensuring that our customers are 100% satisfied is of the utmost importance to the Model Flight team. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we will happily organise a refund or an exchange for you within 12 months, so long as the products are returned to us in a saleable condition under the following guidelines.
Returns Policy
Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. The mounting of engines and accessories, running fuel through engines, cutting or pushing out the balsa sheets in kits, and other similar actions constitutes used merchandise. Radios must be returned with unmounted servos and switch harness.
When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process your return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. ARF kits are specially packaged to insure safe shipping of all contents. In order to receive credit for a returned ARF, the contents must be returned in the original plastic covers and arranged in a manner that will not damage the contents or packaging.
Please return your item to Modelflight with a completed Returns form.
Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to our shop.
Warranty
Modelflight also warrants to the original purchaser that any Modelflight purchase will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase, or we’ll replace it at no charge, you pay only for return shipping and handling. (Proof of purchase from Modelflight must be provided). Modelflight cannot cover its products from accidental damage, general wear and tear, or crashes due to carelessness and/or the associated use of other accessories/power supplies and this remains at the discretion on Modelflight management.
