If you prefer to see your new product in person before you buy, the Modelflight Retail shop is located 130 Goodwood Road, Goodwood, Adelaide, South Australia. If you would like to collect something in-store that you have seen online, please call the store 08-8271-1816 and request the product to collect at your convenience.
There are FREE Parking facilities available and our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to give advice and help with your purchase.

The Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet, designed by Alexander Lippisch was a German rocket-powered fighter aircraft. It is the only rocket-powered fighter aircraft ever to have been operational. It's design was revolutionary and the Me 163 was capable of performance unrivaled at the time. It could reached 1,123 km/h (698 mph) but its range was limited. Over 300 aircraft were built but the Komet proved ineffective as a fighter having been responsible for the destruction of only about nine Allied aircraft.
The most famous Komet must surely be the red Komet in which EK16 commander Wolfgang Spate flew the first operational mission with a Komet. Without his knowledge, the ground crew painted his aircraft bright red, similar to Von Richthofen's red aircraft in WW1. Apparently confidence in the Komet's invulnerability was high! According to his own accounts, Spate was not amused, and ordered the paint to be removed after the flight.
Thanks to HET we now have the opportunity to fly this fast little beast of commander Wolfgang Spate. Painted in High Vis Red - you will need this to keep sight of it! The Fuselage is fibreglass and the wings are balsa covered foam for strenght in high G turns at full speed. It is quick to build as it only requies minimal assembly.

Ensuring that our customers are 100% satisfied is of the utmost importance to the Model Flight team. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we will happily organise a refund or an exchange for you within 12 months, so long as the products are returned to us in a saleable condition under the following guidelines.
Returns Policy
Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. The mounting of engines and accessories, running fuel through engines, cutting or pushing out the balsa sheets in kits, and other similar actions constitutes used merchandise. Radios must be returned with unmounted servos and switch harness.
When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process your return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. ARF kits are specially packaged to insure safe shipping of all contents. In order to receive credit for a returned ARF, the contents must be returned in the original plastic covers and arranged in a manner that will not damage the contents or packaging.
Please return your item to Modelflight with a completed Returns form.
Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to our shop.
Warranty
Modelflight also warrants to the original purchaser that any Modelflight purchase will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase, or we’ll replace it at no charge, you pay only for return shipping and handling. (Proof of purchase from Modelflight must be provided). Modelflight cannot cover its products from accidental damage, general wear and tear, or crashes due to carelessness and/or the associated use of other accessories/power supplies and this remains at the discretion on Modelflight management.
