The tricycle landing gear and semi-symmetrical airfoil of the Advance 25e ARF make it ideal for newer pilots transitioning from high-wing trainers, but experienced pilots will like it too. This very attractive ARF is extremely easy to assemble is very accurately manufactured and is excellent value for money.
I did find the nose wheel steering cable very tight and fitted 2mm wire instead of the supplied wire to achieve free and smoother control. With E-Flite Power 25, APC 12 x 6 and 3S 3300mAh LiPo fitted I did find that additional (32 mg) counterweight was required at the tail to achieve correct C of G (as have other reviewers I have read). I also found that it was necessary to fit slightly larger wheels for our flying field conditions, I discarded the supplied nose wheel and used the supplied main wheel 55mm as a nose wheel and fitted 65mm diameter wheels for mains.
My first flights indicated that the Advance 25e was a good choice for the transition from first trainer to low wing aerobatic aircraft. The Advance is very easy to fly, is docile and forgiving but at the same time will go where you send it.
I will eventually build another using the Power 32 with 4s 3300maH LiPo but plan to fit mini servos for elevator and tailfin towards the rear of the fuselage to help offset that C of G problem.
I would thoroughly recommend the Advance 25e to anyone transiting from SOLO and first trainer.

If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we will happily organise a refund or an exchange for you within 12 months, so long as the products are returned to us in a saleable condition under the following guidelines.
Returns Policy
Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. The mounting of engines and accessories, running fuel through engines, cutting or pushing out the balsa sheets in kits, and other similar actions constitutes used merchandise. Radios must be returned with unmounted servos and switch harness.
When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process your return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. ARF kits are specially packaged to insure safe shipping of all contents. In order to receive credit for a returned ARF, the contents must be returned in the original plastic covers and arranged in a manner that will not damage the contents or packaging.
Please return your item to Modelflight with a completed Returns form.
Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to our shop.
Warranty
Modelflight also warrants to the original purchaser that any Modelflight purchase will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase, or we’ll replace it at no charge, you pay only for return shipping and handling. (Proof of purchase from Modelflight must be provided). Modelflight cannot cover its products from accidental damage, general wear and tear, or crashes due to carelessness and/or the associated use of other accessories/power supplies and this remains at the discretion on Modelflight management.
