Lithium Polymer Battery PacksThe Kokam lithium polymer electric battery packs are composed of 1, 2, or 3 cells wired in series utilizing a sturdy internal printed circuit board. There are three different connector types supported. The connectors are configured to support the current requirements of cells based on the capacity of the pack. Small, low capacity packs include a tiny polarized 1.25mm connector. Medium capacity packs include a polarized 3mm connector with a locking tab. High capacity packs include a Deans Ultra connector. The connector wire is strain relieved using heat shrink material that encloses and protects the assembly. Lithium polymer technology provides extremely high capacity in an ultra-low weight package. Packs are available in all standard capacities. It is recommended that you size the packs according to the current draw requirements of your electric propulsion system.
Unlike any other battery chemistry, Lithium batteries are designed for parallel or series/parallel operation. In choosing your configuration, first assemble cells in series to achieve your voltage requirements. Next parallel multiple series packs to increase your capacity. Other than size, there is virtually no limit to the current capabilities of a series/parallel LiPo battery. The more cells you parallel, the more current you can draw from the battery pack. Series/parallel packs are defined by NSXP where N = number of cells in series and X = number of series packs wired in parallel. As an example a 2S3P pack of 1500 mAh high discharge cells would be comprised of 3, two cell series packs wired in parallel. The nominal voltage of this pack would be 7.4V. The total capacity would be 4500 mAh. Running this pack at 8C means it can support 4500 mA x 8 = 36000 mA or 36A of current.

Dualsky Balancer -
How it works:
To 3S balancer
for 3 cells pack (11.1v),the total volt value is settled to
12.6V,during charging, if the volt of one cell is over 4.25V,the
balancer will begin to work, it will help the cell to consume
the unwanted volt, but the other two cells are still charging. Once
the total volt value is up to 12.6V,it will stop to charge.
To the first
time using the balancer, perhaps you will find the volt of cells is
different, but after 3 times or more, you will find the volt of
cells is very close. So it can protect the cells not over charge and
balance the cells volts.
To 2S saver, for
2 cells pack,7.4v)it has the protect function, but not balance
function. Also works with other LiPo packs such as KoKam!
