Mega AC Series

Mega ACn 16 Brushless Series:

These brushless motors equal any for power and efficiency, but at half the price of some other brands. They match the speed 400 DC motor series, but provide up to 5 times the power at much higher efficiencies of up to 87 percent!

• Kevlar sleeve allows 40,000 rpm motor speeds.
• Efficient rotor design supported by sealed ball bearings for long life and maintenance free operation.
• Flow-through cooling for reliable operation at high power levels
• Exceptional versatility - from 6 to 12 cells direct, and 6 to 16 cells geared (depending on wind).
• Fitted with 16mm / 19mm mounting holes and  3.17mm motor shaft to fit many motor mounts and gearboxes.

Mega motors provide excellent performance on direct drive, in ducted fans and are also suitable for geared applications with high cell counts.  The design is six-pole and, like all brushless motors, uses three-phase switched AC supplied by the speed controller.

Mega ACn 22 Brushless Series:

These brushless motors equal any for power and efficiency, but at half the price of some other brands. They match the speed 500/600 brushed motor series, but provide up to 5 times the power at much higher efficiencies of up to 87 percent!

• Neodymium magnets - strong magnetic field produces exceptional motor torque
• Kevlar sleeve on rotor allows 40,000 rpm (ACn 22/20/2 has been run reliably at 75,000 rpm in F5B)
• Efficient hollow-rotor design supported by sealed ball bearings for long life and maintenance free operation.
• Flow-through cooling for reliable operation at high power.
• Delivered with 3.5mm male Gold connectors already attached
• Mounts spaced at 25mm and 5mm motor shaft fit many mounts and gearboxes

The "22" is the rotor diameter, and the motors are available with rotor lengths of 10, 20, 30, or 45mm. The final number is the number of winds per pole in the motor.

For example:  ACn 22-20-3 has a rotor 22x20mm in size and three turns of wire around each pole.
