 Inspired by the twin boom fighter jets of the 1960's, the Rebel combines this well proven layout with futuristic styling to produce a totally new look on the slope.
With a unique layout for a slope soarer, the Rebel features the well proven aileron/elevator control, but we've added a lot more than that. The ailerons are each driven by separate servo's and can be linked (inner and outer) to give a blistering roll rate. Using a computer radio and some electronic mixing, the ailerons become 'flaperons' to give a whole new dimension to flying a slope soarer. Now you can tweak in a little bit of flap when the lift drops off to improve the light wind performance, or droop the flaperons right down for a controlled descent to land. 
By adding a third servo in the wing, the inboard ailerons can be used as dedicated flaps and operate separately to the ailerons. The really cool thing with this set-up is that you can also dial in 'crow braking' (ailerons up/flap down) for the ultimate controlled slow speed approach to landing.
In its basic 2 channel set up the Rebel is a very smooth slope soarer that flies well in light to moderate winds and really comes alive in winds over 20knots. Adding flaps and electronic mixing to give the pilot more options for the conditions make the Rebel a truly unique slope soarer, capable of exciting aerobatics and solid low speed control.

All the EPP components included in the kit are produced with a computer controlled dual axis cutting machine and finished by hand to ensure the quality of each part is correct and ready to assemble.
