Brand New! Vaterra Halix RC Monster Truck Coming to Modelflight
An off-road beast emerged from the Vaterra garage today. The Halix 4WD is a new 1/10-scale RC monster truck that comes ready-to-run with Spektrum's new Active Vehicle Control (AVC) technology. This new technology will take your driving to a whole new level. There are three things that make AVC a standout feature:

Heading Hold   Heading Hold manages your steering output by automatically aligning the Vaterra Halix's tyres to your chosen direction. When centred, Heading Hold will maintain that direction, regardless of the traction or the terrain's ruggedness, so you can floor the accelerator without having to worry about losing control.   Throttle Management   Throttle Management is designed to maximise the truck's grip, even the most challenging environments. This technology adjusts the Halix's throttle output to minimise the wheel slip and allow you to accelerate easily while maximising the traction.   Adjustable Stability   With AVC Technology, you are able to adjust the amount of stability assistance depending on your skill level, driving style and the terrain. Depending on the Spektrum transmitter you are using, these adjustments can be made using programming functions or a steering rate knob.   The Halix monster truck comes with a Spektrum DX2E transmitter. This radio (along with the included receiver) has the secure DSMR technology; giving you features not found in any other 2.4GHz system available today. What's more, this radio system is compatible with the new AVC technology; no additional components are required.   This RC monster truck was built for serious off-road adventures. All the electronics in the Halix, including the ESC, servo and receiver, are waterproof. Additionally, the truck's gearing is all metal, so it can tackle any obstacle in its way.   Modelflight is very excited about the release of the Halix remote control truck. With its innovative AVC technology, it certainly ranks among the best RC trucks available.
